TV Network Wars: ABS-CBN vs. GMA, What’s your point?
The war between this two big networks here in the Philippines is so complicated. I don’t know why there is a gap between this two channel. But I guessed it is because of shifting of artist in one channel to another and because of the competition to get a high ratings. This two channels are claiming and having a war because of the rate. ABS-CBN said that they are no. 1 channel in the Asia and also GMA claims that not the ABS but they are the no. in the Asia. Each channel giving their opinions on the air that everyone could hear and see. Shifting of artists in one station to another is one also the root of the war on this two channel. As i remembered when Toni Gonzaga decided to transferred in the ABS-CBN, Joey Leon got angry and he talked and talked over the television against Toni. And the most controverting issues now is the quarrel between Willie Revillame an artist of ABS-CBN and Joey De Leon an artist of GMA. In my opinion I really don’t like the attitude of Joey because he always find ways to make Revillame down and get his show out on the television. The question in my mind is that why is that they like to have a war, in fact they are all in the same industry? Instead of quarreling why don’t they make love and help each other to offer t6he best in the viewers. I guessed if they love and cooperate each other the local industry will become more successful and more industrialized.
