They Said, “Men by Nature Always Need Something More!” Why?

September 30, 2007

They always keep on saying that “Men by nature always need something more? But why? Maybe because were only just human, we always thinking the best thing we can do to make ourselves become satisfied. We are looking something more to supply our needs and to make us more happier. We are always craving something to ease our satisfied. As what we read on the Bible at Genesis, “When God created the world, He also created the Human and that was Adam. But God saw Adam lonely so from the ribs of Adam, Eve was made. In the paradise they are happy and they can talked the God. All animals are their friends and God gave them everything except to the fruit of wisdom. The fruit tree could be found in the middle of the paradise. God said “You can eat to all fruits except to the fruit tree located at the middle of this paradise”. But unfortunately they betrayed God, Eve was tempted by the Serpens and she ate the fruit and with that he gave to Adam and he ate also”. In that short story I can simply compared Adam and Eve to us that because of curiosity and unsatisfied of what we have we can do even the bad things for we to satisfied.

Why Many Skillful Filipino IT Professionals Are Working Abroad?

September 29, 2007

In my opinion about why some of our IT Filipino working abroad, it’s because of the financial problem. If we are going to compare the wages here in the Philippines and the wages given by other country, we can say that there has a big difference. When a graduate IT person works here in the Philippines her/his money is not enough to sustain his/her personal needs while if he/she abroad he/she can earned enough money for himself/herself and he/she also can support his/her parents financially. Because as all we know the wages here are so cheap compared to other industrialized countries. Not only IT Filipinos migrate to other countries but also other skilled Filipino who are graduated as a nurses, engineers, doctors, and etc.

We all know that working abroad is not an easy things to do but because of the "money" we do everything for our family even the consequences is to be far from them. But what can we do? We are living in a country which is not really industrialized like other countries. The salary here is so low compared to USA, Canada, Australia and other countries. So other thing we can do is to go abroad and with there we work and earned money for our future anf family.emoticon

My Best Teacher in Life!

September 26, 2007

I remembered my high school years, when I was a fourth year student I had a teacher named Ms. Mary Rose Antipala. She was my adviser before and a friend too. At age of 30 years old she’s still single and she had no plan to get married yet because she said the she’s not ready. Her life is full of fun and very colorful.

I don’t know why but I have a very light feeling to her. Maybe because she is single, and always game to get fun with us. I liked to mingled with her and spend times taking with her. She is so nice and very approachable to her students. Even though she always busy, she still had time to talk with us and give some advices.

I liked her because she’s different from other teachers. Because there are some teachers that they don’t liked to mingled there students because of the sense that they are superior from the them. I liked the way she taught us back in the high school time. Every time we had a class to her, the class was so fun and the same time we got we learned. I remembered when i had no speech yet to say in our graduation, i approached her and without thinking twice she made a piece for me. And until now if i have a problem in school, she’s the one who helps me.

What makes Davao a unique city?

September 25, 2007

Davao is unique from other domestic places because Davao has its own characteristics that you cannot find to other places. One of these are the people lived here in the Davao. People here in Davao are very hospitable and respectful to other person. If someone coming from other places we always find something that we can offer to them. Even though we don’t have money to buy food or snacks for them we really find ways to have something to shared. People also here in Davao are very cheerful. No matter how big problems we facing, we can still laugh and give smile for others.

Second is the fresh air, fruits and fresh vegetables. Where ever you go in the city of Davao you can find a lots of fruits and vegetables. You can buy it for a low prices and you can surely assure that the fruits and vegetables they selling are fresh and safe. How much more if you are in the rural places of Davao? Like in my home place, fruits and vegetables are free. You don’t need to pay money if you want to eat guava, pomelo, rambutan or lanzones. Thank you is only the word you need to say to the owner.

And next is the great places of the Davao. Here are the Rizal park, Magsaysay Park, San Pedro and etc. are nice places to stay without paying money. You can have some relaxed there and feel the fresh air that touches in your skin. There are also many beaches around here in Davao. It so nice and clean and fit for your budget. We have also many big malls and a boutique for the sarongs, malongs and hand made native souvenirs for all.

And I’m so proud to be a Dabaweñia.

What can you say about the verdict of the case of ex- President Joseph Ejercito Estrada? Are you in favor with the decision? Why?

September 24, 2007

My opinion about this case is i think that the decision made by judges of court of justice are fair to all. Yes, i am in favor that he should be imprison for how many years and he definitely deserves it. All the evidences were cleared and very strong that he made a foolish things that made him to be send in jail. He used the money of people for his own sake and for he to become a very wealthy man. How he explained his mansions? His luxury things? His properties? The salary of being a president is not enough to buy very expensive mansions, not only one mansion but many mansions worth of millions. How he explained the Jose Pedal cased? That the penmanship of him and the penmanship of Jose Pedal are almost the same. If you are a good president and honest with your position you cannot buy or own this all, an least you used the money of the people or maybe you really a reach guy ever since. But on the case of the ex- president it was obviously that he corrupted the money of the people and he betrayed his country and for being a president of the Philippines. He did not declared his properties in the public and he kept it secretly.

I think the judges made a nice job. He/she made a very nice decision and it’s only proven that no matter what kind of person you are either a poor or rich person or even a president of the country, as long as you committed mistakes that against by the law you should be punished. It also proven that the justice here in the Philippines is still fair and could be trusted. emoticon
